Purpose of the position:
The Account Coordinator is responsible on a daily basis for administration of the Beverage Alcohol department, as well as providing assistance to assigned Program & Field Managers.
Specific Duties:
· Coordinates events, by successfully booking tastings on the LCBO system - (MPTS).
· Records updated information of store demographics, traffic, product strategy to best meet clients’ needs.
· Coordinates in-store inventory to ensure no cancellations.
· Coordinates staff scheduling/payroll, ensuring locations are adequately staffed.
· Provides assistance to client services:
· Responds promptly to client inquiries.
· Follows up with clients who booked on line and execute the booking process.
· Supports the sales team by providing quotes and SOW updates as needed.
· Prepares summary variance reports.
· Assists with invoicing by preparing updated billing information for Accounting.
· Assists Human Resources to identify hiring needs and onboard new reps.
· Maintains positive relationships with retail store management.
· Maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders in the beverage alcohol industry.
· Coordinates events/demos of the in-store teams, ensuring representatives have product information and equipment and are prepared for their assigned events.
· Provides Natural Insight system support to the program managers, which may include, but not limited to: posting opportunities, building questionnaires, exporting reports, entering representatives’ assignments.
Position Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Accounting, or equivalent work experience in the beverage alcohol industry
· Three to five years experience in administration, coordinating events and assisting with payroll and invoicing
· Experience with Merchandising Promotions Tracking System (MPTS)
· Proficiency in MS Office suite; Advanced proficiency in Excel
· Excellent problem-solving skills; and attention to detail
· Strong communication skills (verbal, written); and strong organization and planning skills
· Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
