This position offers a typical work week of 40 hours with benefits and a competitive salary. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of professionals and will be responsible for all aspects of accounting including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reporting and remittances, bi-monthly payroll, customer service, general office duties, and occasional wineshop relief.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two years of related work experience
A diploma or degree in accounting or in a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel
Familiarity with Microsoft Navision Accounting & Paymate Clarity payroll software
Ability to work with other operating systems like RMS and SalesLitre
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
An easy-going, friendly nature with a good sense of humour
