Assistant Winemaker (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

In this position, the successful candidate will report to, and work with the winemaker in many aspects of the business.  We’ll be looking for a person with some mix of experience in the cellar, experience in the vineyard, supervisory experience, and winemaking education. 

The successful applicant

  • should live in the South Okanagan
  • be able to legally work in Canada
  • have a valid class 5 driver’s license
  • speak fluent English
  • be competent in Microsoft Office
  • have physical fitness required for cellar and limited vineyard work.  
  • have, or be able to obtain a forklift operator’s license and basic first aid certification.  

We need an honest person who knows how to work, wants to learn, and is able to teach.

 

Starting date is negotiable, approximately Aug. 15 – Sep. 1, 2020. Remuneration is very competitive, depending on education and experience.
