As Phantom Creek Estates prepares to open its doors to the world, we are now seeking a Bilingual Chinese Brand Ambassador to join our dynamic team.  This is a full-time/permanent role that will serve to increase brand awareness amongst the Chinese community, drive incremental new business opportunities in both the on and off premise of our winery.

 

Reporting to the Estate Director the main responsibilities include:

·         Introduce guests/consumers to our wines by hosting a concierge style immersive experiences in high season at our winery

·         Design and execute promotional private events to provide tasting and dining experiences showcasing our wines on and off site

·         Generate wines sales through private client advisors and key/strategic accounts

·         Build our brand through activating and cultivating unique relationships in the Chinese community as an extension of our sales team, supporting brand education, activation and volume driving activities

·         Travel when needed to support key initiatives, festivals and trade functions

·         Assist with translation during tasting, trade events and/or other consumer activations

·         Update and translate marketing collateral for website, social media and presentations for the Chinese market

·         Manage and plan event logistics

·         Maintain high level of product and brand knowledge to be clearly communicated to consumers and industry businesses

·         Promote the brand over Chinese based social platforms such as WeChat

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Translation, Business, Marketing or Communications

·         Language requirements – bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred. Both Cantonese and Mandarin would be ideal

·         Wine knowledge (WSET), hospitality industry or promotional experience is an asset

·         High level of communication confidence, both interpersonal and in a group setting as a representative of our company

·         Detailed-orientated, timely efficient and strong organizational skills

·         Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

·         Skilled in Microsoft Office, WeChat and other social media platforms

·         Valid drivers license with a clean record
