Tinhorn Creek Vineyards in Oliver, BC is one of the Okanagan's most innovative and environmentally sustainable estate wineries with an extensive health and safety program. We are a 450-ton winery in the heart of the South Okanagan wine region, with vineyards on both the Golden Mile Bench and the Black Sage Bench. We produce roughly 50:50 white and red, and our two unique vineyard sites allow us to grow both Bordeaux and Burgundy varietals in addition to a dash of Syrah and Gewurztraminer. We employ a basic and natural wine making approach and have a small but skilled team you would enjoy working with.

Your job will be varied, and no two days will be the same! From working at the wine tasting bar, organizing & leading experiences, pouring extraordinary into everyday life and having fun!

We are seeking extraordinary, enthusiastic Wine Experience Server to join our Tinhorn Creek Vineyards team starting May 1st!

We offer:

  • Thirty Five to Forty Average weekly hours during peak season*

We are looking for teammates with

  • A passion for working with the public and/or are interested in learning about wine
  • A passion for sharing wine and viticultural knowledge
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to multi-task
  • A "Can Do" attitude and enjoy working in a busy seated tasting environment (restaurant serving experience an asset)
  • A "One Team" mentality who are interested in working in a supportive team environment
  • An understanding of how to provide best-in-class service for guests
  • An understanding of high-end table side service.

These teammates will be accountable for:

  • Greeting guests/in person/phone/email with a robust and friendly manner
  • Being a Wine Educator and brand ambassador conveying a consistent and positive brand story
  • Creating memorable guest experiences by providing information about our premium wines and/or leading tastings and experiences
  • Sharing wine and viticulture knowledge in a fun and engaging way
  • Drive for higher sales and encouraging guests to become Wine Club members
  • Performing all selling and retail functions within each of the retail boutiques
  • Demonstrate service excellence to all visitors by managing customer inquiries in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner
  • Supporting on-site events and in-store promotions
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
