Situated in the South Okanagan, Osoyoos Larose is one of Canada’s leading wineries producing Bordeaux Blends from premium organic estate grown grapes.

 

We are looking for a cellar hand to join our exiting project. Reporting to the Cellar Master, the cellar hand will learn from a team of knowledge staff and will learn a wide variety of skills.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

-          Receive fruit, operate crusher/de-stemmer, must pump, press

-          Clean and sanitize presses, tanks, hoses, pumps and other equipment

-          Rackings, transfers, blending

-          Pump overs/punch downs of fermenting reds

-          Barrel work including filling, topping and cleaning

-         Warehouse work    

Requirements:

-          Ability to meet physical demands of position

-          Ability to work well in a team

-          Must be legally permitted to work in Canada

Can be an asset:

-          Forklift experience

-          Lab experience
