Bottling Line Operator (in Training)
Located in Penticton, Artus Bottling Ltd. is a leading mobile wine industry service provider. We are expanding our operations, and are currently looking to hire an Bottling Line Operator (in Training) to work closely with winery staff and wine makers. Serving the wineries of the South Okanagan and beyond, the successful candidate will oversee aspects of the mobile bottling line, troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide minor line maintenance. The Bottling Line Operator (in Training) will be mentored by a qualified Bottling Line Operator.

Responsibilities include:
● Efficient, professional, and safe operation of the bottling line;
● Set-up and preparation of the line prior to bottling;
● Cleaning and packing of bottling line post bottling;
● Perform routine and preventative maintenance;
● Perform bottle/label checks while running;
● Trouble shoot equipment;
● Follow food safety and SOP standards;
● Other responsibilities consistent with a role of this nature.
Education, Qualification, and Skills required;
● Grade 12 high school diploma;
● Strong mechanical aptitude;
● Exceptional problem-solving abilities;
● Excellent communication skills;
● Customer and solutions focused;
● Ability to work under pressure and be production oriented;
● Ability to lift heavy objects;
● Ability to follow established procedures and recommend new procedures when required;
● Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic systems is a benefit;
● Ability to adhere to sanitary food handling requirements;
● Ability to work overtime when required;
● Valid driver’s license is required.
