Supervisor duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• To assist the Manager and Assistant Manager in leading, directing and motivating all staff members to achieve our overall sales objectives.
• Make sure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures (example: dress code, eating food on sales floor, cell phone usage etc.)
• Communicate all employee relations issues, concerns and incidents to management.
• Assist management by completing all assigned tasks in a timely fashion.
• Supervise all staff on shift and ensure that they are meeting or exceeding our service standards as laid out by the store manager.
• Handle all customer issues that occur on shift. Communicate any escalated issues immediately to management.
• Responsible for all bottle shots being entered onto the website. As new products arrive bottles shots must be taken within 5 days and uploaded to system.
• Deliver positive feedback to staff when warranted.
• Take care of all “ecommerce” web orders. Ensure that all key staff are trained on how to process orders and arrange for shipping.
• Make sure that all cash tills are balanced at the end of each shift. Correct any issues prior to closing of tills.
• Count and balance the float in the safe on a daily basis.
• Complete all Daily Sales reports and forward to Head Office.
• Replenish the main float with change as needed.
• Responsible for placing and receiving the weekly Beer orders from BDL, Sleemans and Big Rock.
• Make sure that all new beers are correctly entered into HQ Manager with corresponding bar codes.
• Oversee the ordering and up keep of the Growler Bar. This includes ordering the beers for rotation and making sure that the labels and spec sheets are made prior to the product arriving.
• Continue to promote classroom events by arranging weekly tasting events for the public and holding private events as well.
• Manage offline inventory. Reach out to reps for defective replacements.
Previous supervisor or management experience preferred.
