JOB DESCRIPTION

 

This position will report to the Ontario Vice President of Operations and will be assigned to the Toronto GTA Region and be integrated within the regional sales operations of the Charton Hobbs sales teams. The PCM will be responsible with maintaining a comprehensive product knowledge of assigned Moet Hennessy portfolio of wine and spirits. The role will be responsible for orchestrating and executing the strategies of the various Maison’s for their brands into effective local individualised sales and marketing experiential programs directed towards targeted high net worth clients, key targeted corporate accounts, and professionals to deliver annual objectives within defined budget. The PCM may at management discretion, be responsible for maintaining relationships with selected regional key accounts. Working with the MH GM, regional VP, National PR Director, National Marketing Director, and the regional sales manager, establish regional objectives, target lists and budgets for assigned portfolios. The role will be expected to provide exceptional service levels, develop the necessary tools and resources, set best practices and monitor the results of key programs, manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting requirements throughout the year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Based from the Mississauga Charton Hobbs office, the PCM will be required to work frequent evenings and weekends in addition to the normal daytime related job functions. The position requires a person prepared to be on call when required to fulfill customer requests. A level of domestic and international travel is also incumbent with this position.  The role also includes;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with a key target list and network for professionals, key corporate accounts in assigned markets;
  • Developing sales of high end products of the MH portfolio and deliver defined sales targets with clients and key corporate accounts;

  • Develop strategies and measurable plans to optimize the exposure opportunities and sales potential of MH portfolio brands that specifically address target audience;

  • Work with the various Maison’s resources plus National, regional marketing, sales teams, and National PR, to create unique experiential marketing events, programs catering to targeted clients;

  • Provide exceptional V.I.P. personalized service levels on an on-call basis catering to the demands and lifestyles of the clientele;

  • Organize and implement experiential events, trips, dinners, parties, ensure best practices are implemented, and reporting of results. Update social media feeds and involving PR as required;

  • Responsible for operating within assigned overall budget for PM spending in the region, ensuring the proper monitoring of all spends and corrective actions when required;

  • Be available as a product knowledge resource and training resource for the accounts, targeted high-net worth-individual groups, or other clients of the complete MH portfolio of brands as required.

 

Job Requirements: 

Bachelor degree or higher, (Commerce, Marketing major preferred), or 3 or more years job experience directly relevant to the sale of luxury goods and services to exclusive clients:

  • WSET 2 & 3, extensive knowledge of fine wine and spirits;

  • A network of exclusive clients or experience in providing exceptional service levels to this audience;

  • Strong organizational, hosting, presentation and negotiating skills for diverse projects and audiences;

  • Available for frequent evening and weekend events (often on short notice), On call access 7 days a week;

  • Both local and international travel required;

  • Strong level of IT related skills, strong MS Office knowledge and ability to master new software’s, social media participation;

  • Demonstrated ability to multi task under pressure, and work as a team player with a diverse universe of related parties is a must;

  • A flair for creative thinking and innovation in developing brand or customer business solutions;

  • Established track record in building relationships with exclusive clients;

  • Valid Canadian Passport;

  • Valid Driver’s License;

  • Bilingual English/French is an asset;
