Sales Manager, On-Premise (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Profile Wine Group, one of Canada’s premier wine agencies is currently seeking a Sales Manager. The successful candidate will manage the On-Premise sales channel with a focus on driving revenue growth and market share through attainment of sales targets and by leading a team of Key Account Managers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Development of sales targets, operating budgets, and sales strategies in support of divisional objectives

• Manage supplier relationships to optimize marketing opportunities and sales efforts

• Collaborate with management team on strategic portfolio selection

• In conjunction with inventory manager, ensure adequate inventory supply

• Collaborate with the Retail Sales team to leverage existing customer relationships and drive revenue growth

• Conduct accounts receivables exposure review with Account Managers

• Collaborate with marketing staff to plan promotional and special events as required

• Hiring, training and in-field work sessions with Key Account Managers

• Prepare various sales performance and other general administrative reports

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years progressive sales management experience in the alcohol beverage industry

• Industry expertise and strong business acumen

• Above average wine knowledge
