We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of Seasonal Merchandiser for November and December. This position requires someone who is a dedicated self-starter, proactive, with attention to detail, and demonstrates strong commitment to being a team player. There will be an opportunity to further the length of employment, depending on performance and needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, this role will work closely in assisting our sales team with POS delivery and application throughout Ontario
- Works closely with Regional Sales Manager in order to book schedule for the week, reviewing priorities, discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products and price changes
- Maintains customer relationships by visiting with store managers, and responding to special requests
- Maintains store shelves by observing displays of company products and ensuring optimum display of product
- Observe competitive displays and report information back
- Helps field sales representatives with special promotions by checking daily on special promotions; observing customer reaction to special promotions; forwarding observations to management.
- Maintains quality results by following and enforcing standards.
- Enhances merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements
- A great team player with high level of dedication
- Valid driver’s license and car
- Solid time management skills with ability to manage time and priorities,
- Proficiency in English, other languages considered a plus
- Well-organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
