We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our British Columbia sales team in the position of Account Manager, Vancouver City & Whistler.
A small tight-knit team of Account Managers based in key areas of British Columbia, passion and talent summarize the team precisely. You will report to the Provincial Sales Manager, who believes in opportunities, empowerment and ongoing coaching. Based in Vancouver, you will responsible for driving business growth in Vancouver City & Whistler through the high quality distribution of the Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate brands. Although this is a multi-channel sales role, growth and development in the on-premise channel will be a key focus for this role. This is an exciting role where a passion for the wine and hospitality industry will be key to the success in this role
What you will bring:
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Sales role within the beverage or hospitality industries;
• Superb relationship building, networking and communication skills;
• Eagerness to be ‘in the know’ of new on-premise establishments;
• Confidence, drive and self-motivation to achieve;
• Strong time management and planning ability;
• The willingness to travel within assigned territory at varied hours;
• WSET 2 or greater will be highly regarded;
• A tertiary qualification is desirable.
