Requirements:
Basic
· Be at least 19 years of age
· Be legally able to work in Canada
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent time-management skills, and the ability to prioritize
· Excellent attention to detail and the willingness to set and maintain high standards
· Knowledge of or interest in beer, wine and spirits products, and the willingness to learn more
· A mature, positive and responsible attitude with a strong work ethic and sound judgement
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and remain focused under pressure
· Ability to complete repetitive tasks quickly, efficiently and consistently
Regulatory
· Valid Serving It Right certificate
Physical
· Able to lift 20-25kg boxes repeatedly, and stand for extended periods of time
· Able to climb ladders as needed
Availability
· Able to work a flexible schedule (8am-11pm), and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Experience
· Minimum 3 years of liquor industry, customer service or retail experience
· Minimum 1 year supervisory/management experience
Preferred
· WSET certification, or similar industry qualification (Cicerone, CSS)
· Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with:
Leadership and people management
Retail metrics (sales, gross margin, customer count, etc.)
Visual merchandising
Retail loss prevention and OH&S
Inventory management
Hiring and labour standards

Job description
· Assist Store Manager with daily operations of a high-volume LRS
· Provide leadership, training and coaching to staff members; be a positive role model and lead by example
· Open, operate or close the store as needed
· Build an efficient and productive team by delegating work appropriately and effectively
· Build and maintain staff morale by providing positive reinforcement and ongoing skills development
· Ensure store goals are met through effective planning and organization of staff, inventory and other resources
· Ensure visual merchandising and store appearance standards are met
· Place orders for products and receive deliveries as needed
Compensation:
Salary negotiable on experience
