We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable full-time, permanent Demand Planner in the one of the leading wine agencies in Canada. This is a newly created position within our growing company. The demand Planner will work closely with the Inventory Manager, suppliers and vendors to ensure accurate purchasing and receiving of inventory. This position is responsible for processing order requests as indicated by regional directors, tracking and verifying receipt of shipments, and completing all necessary paper work to ensure liquor regulation compliance.

Job Duties:

  • Updating inventory data sheets on a regular basis

  • Uploading/downloading inventory data for analysis

  • Communicating product changes with internal and external key stakeholders

  • Processing required paper work for purchasing and receiving

  • Monitoring shipment compliance with local liquor boards

  • Confirming and processing orders for the prairie provinces

Job requirements:

  • Specialization in operations and logistics will be preferred

  • Previous experience working in the supply chain field an asset

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite

  • Organization and acute attention to detail required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Positive attitude and customer service orientation

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and detail

  • Basic knowledge of accounting terms and ERP systems an asset

  • A passion for wine
