DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and ship samples/marketing material/POS to sales teams and liquor boards
- Keep the office (small) organized and order office supplies
- Update inventory reports weekly for BC and Alberta ensuring highest attention to detail reporting vintages, FIFO, allocations
- Issue Purchase Orders for multiple suppliers and organize pick ups and receiving with frieght forwarding services in BC/AB
- Submit inter-provincial POs and transfers often with very strict deadlines
- Order samples from suppliers for new products/vintages ensuring all paperwork is accurately submitted to custom broker
- Support the sales team on many emails/inquiries regarding product/inventory/vintages/etc
- Ensure scores are up to date on inventory
- Respond quickly, efficiently and effectively to all BCL wholesale inquiries/updates, product and receiving updates and inventory enquiries
- Enter monthly sales on Excel for all wineries/skus.
- Submit and ensure all pricing forms are updated to Jackson Family Wines pricing dept
- Support Accounting Manager and General Manager on grid/excel updates reports
- Support with other office tasks/problem solving involving inventory and logistics
- Support with all pricing and board applications
- Respond and support sales team with all inventory/logistics requests
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Decisive, efficient problem solver
- Able to thrive and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- High-level Excel/Computer skills
- Resourceful, quick thinking
- Positive, good communicator
- Organized and high attention to detail
- Willing to work hard to get the job done
- Supply chain/rorecasting experience preferred; but, not necessary
- Basic understanding of wine
