This role supports the Purchasing, Pricing & Inventory team in an administrative function, coordinating orders and shipments in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the inbound and outbound shipments
Prepare purchase orders and validate details (qty, price, incoterm, etc…)
Transmit paperwork to supplier and liquor boards
Monitoring documentation, shipment progress, costs and timeliness
Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
Cross reference freight invoices with approved transportation rates
Ensure all the Liquor Boards form related to International Trade agreements are submitted on time (CETA, CUSMA, etc.)
Other administrative tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Candidate Expectations
Experience in importing wine & spirits
Experience with Dynamics Nav
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Flexible and proactive mindset
Ideally 1-2 years experience in logistics area
Reports to: Purchasing, Pricing & Inventory Manager
