Job Summary

FreshTAP is looking for a passionate, driven, and outgoing Sales Representative to drive the expansion of the Wine-on-Tap market throughout BC and Western Canada.

The Wine-on-Tap Outside Sales Representative will be based out of our Vancouver office, and will use education and relationship-building to add to the number of Wine-on-Tap accounts pouring FreshTAP kegs. Acting as a bridge between wineries & their agents, and restaurant partners, the Wine-on-Tap Outside Sales Representative finds solutions that work, ensuring the success of all of our partners.

Responsibilities & Duties

Reporting to the GM/VP OPs, the Outside Sales representative is responsible for:

• Generating growth in the Wine-on-Tap category through the addition of wine taps to the hospitality market, primarily bar & restaurant installs

• Generate leads and add to installs in progress

• Cold calls will be a critical component of success in this role

• Maintain CRM database of current and future accounts

• Lead education seminars for hospitality partners, wineries and their sales reps

• Manage FreshTAP social media accounts

• Attend trade shows and events across Western Canada

• Maintain relationships with installation partners

 

Required Experience and Skills

• 2+ years experience in wine, beer or spirits sales. Alternative experience in the hospitality sector will also be considered

• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work independently

• WSET or CAPS certification is a plus, but not required

• Able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lb kegs

• Occasional travel across BC and out of province will be required

• Must have full time access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license (mileage will be compensated appropriately)
