Vancouver Island Territory Manager (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales calls with qualified buyers in hospitality and private retail and strategically sell-in the AmoVino Portfolio
  • Meet targeted objectives for territory by utilizing sales knowledge, estsablished relationshps, and consistent communication with accounts
  • Be able to anticipate and fulfill your unique customer needs
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Operate the territory with mindful independence while strongly communicating your needs and timely updates to management
  • Implement marketing programs to build brand awareness
  • Conduct tastings to educate customers about products (when covid restrictions allow)
  • Attend educational and special events with our Producers

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education in relatable field, such as business, sales, or food and beverage
  • 1 – 3 years of industry experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Exemplary customer service skills: including regular contact/communication, problem solving, follow through and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Valid BC driver’s license and unrestrictd access to your own vehicle. 
  • Flexibility for evening and weekend work hours as needed and determined in advance
  • Valid Serving It Right Certification
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs comfortably
  • Multi-lingualism is an asset

Compensation will be negotiated based on experience and will include health benefits after 6 months.
