Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a qualified automated bottling line manager with relevant professional experience the automated production of alcoholic beverages and in production team management as well as having mechanical and oenological knowledge to join our crew.

*This is a position of the National Occupational Classification (NOC): 9213-Supervisors, food and beverage processing.

**This is a managing position of a team of NOC employees:

·         9617 : Labourers in food and beverage processing

·         9461 : Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing

 

 As an automated bottling line manager, you will have to:

·         Organize, manage and supervise the bottling equipment, the automated bottling line and the work team and be part of this team;

·         Operate, manage and ensure proper functioning of all automated wine and alcoholic beverages bottling line machinery such as: filler, corker/capsuler, labeler, filtration system…;

·         Ensure and manage preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and reporting of operational issues of the machinery;

·         Ensure the proper storage, organization, cleaning and routine upkeep of equipment, material and work tools;

·         Ensure diligent cleanliness and safety of the equipment and the work environment, in accordance with the safety and cleanliness standards;

·         Work within the safety, sanitation and quality control standards and procedures of our company and from the industry while ensuring daily production;

·         Complete production and quality control records;

·         Act as a point of contact with client on site, interact in a professional and courteous manner in accordance with mandates;

·         Complete all other tasks related to operations;

·         Train and pass on your technical knowledge and skills in automated bottling of alcoholic beverages to bottling line operators;

·         Manage a team of employees, follow up with superiors.

 

Requirements:

·         Have a minimum of 4 years work experience in the management of a team of automated bottling line operators in the field of wine and / or alcoholic beverages production;

·         Have a diploma of vocational studies in automated mechanical systems (or equivalent diploma in this field)

·         Be bilingual: excellent proficiency in French, both verbally and in writing and be functional in English;

·         Have a valid class 5 driver’s licence;

·         Have a valid class 1 driver’s licence or willingness to get it quickly, as well as experience in towing and driving back in tight places;

·         Experience in sterilization of alcoholic beverages production equipment;

·         Have good oenological knowledge.

Candidate profile:

·         Have relevant and significant experience in the management of a team of automated bottlers of wine and / or alcoholic beverages and in the operation of an automated bottling line of wine and / or alcoholic beverages;

·         Have oenological knowledge and interest and mechanical knowledge in the automated bottling process of alcoholic beverages field;

·         Have an interest and aptitude in the training of employees and in the transmission of knowledge and technical skills in the field of team management, automated bottling (mechanics) and production of alcoholic beverages;

·         Have a significant competence in the application and monitoring of safety standards in the field of automated production of alcoholic beverages;                                                    

·         Be physically fit, able to stand for long periods of time and to safely lift/carry up to 25 Kg (55lbs);

·         Enjoy taking on challenges, taking charge, be proactive and identify and solve problems of all kinds;

·         Be willing to travel for short to medium terms;

·         Have the ability to prioritize, perform well in a wide array of situations and to handle pressure while maintaining a highly professional attitude;

·         Show a strong sense of autonomy, thoroughness and resourcefulness, attention to detail and job well done;

·         Be capable of working both independently and in a team;

·         Have an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both the production team and the clientele.

 

We offer:

·         A salary of 22.00$ per hour for regular hours and 1.5 regular pay for overtime hours (over 40 hours per week).

Exigences :

·         Posséder une expérience de travail de 4 ans, minimum, dans la gestion d'une équipe d'opérateurs de ligne d'embouteillage automatisée dans le domaine de la production de vin et/ou de boissons alcoolisées;

·         -Détenir un diplôme d'études professionnelles en système mécaniques automatisés (ou diplôme équivalent dans ce domaine);

·         Bilinguisme : excellente maîtrise du français à l’oral et à l’écrit et maîtrise fonctionnelle de l’anglais;

·         Détenir un permis de conduire de classe 5 valide;

·         Détenir un permis de conduire de classe 1 valide ou la volonté de l’obtenir rapidement, ainsi qu’une expérience dans la conduite de remorque et de recul dans des endroits étroits;

·         Avoir de l’expérience en stérilisation d’équipements d’embouteillage de boissons alcoolisées;

·         Posséder des connaissances œnologiques développées.

 

Profil recherché :

·         Détenir une expérience pertinente et significative dans la gestion d'une équipe d'opérateurs de ligne d'embouteillage automatisée de vin et/ou boissons alcoolisée et dans le fonctionnement d’une ligne d'embouteillage automatisée de vin et/ou boissons alcoolisées;

·         Avoir des connaissances œnologiques et des connaissances mécaniques en matière d’embouteillage automatisé de boissons alcoolisées;

·         Avoir de l’intérêt et une aptitude dans la formation d’employés et dans la transmission des connaissances et des habiletés techniques dans le domaine de la gestion d’équipe, de l’embouteillage automatisé (mécanique) et au niveau de la production de boissons alcoolisées;

·         Détenir une compétence certaine dans l’application et le suivi des normes de sécurité dans le domaine de la production et de l’embouteillage automatisé de boissons alcoolisées;

·         Être en bonne forme physique, pouvoir rester debout pour de longues périodes et manipuler de façon sécuritaire des charges pouvant aller jusqu’à 25 kg/55 lbs;

·         Aimer et vouloir relever des défis, prendre en charge des responsabilités, faire preuve de proactivité, identifier et résoudre des problèmes en tout genre;

·         Être disposé à effectuer des déplacements à court et moyen terme;

·         Détenir une habileté à prioriser et performer dans toutes sortes de situations et d’environnements, et ce, même sous pression, tout en maintenant une attitude hautement professionnelle;

·         Posséder un sens accru de l’autonomie, être rigoureux et débrouillard, tout en ayant le souci du détail et du travail bien fait;

·         Savoir travailler aussi bien seul qu’au sein d’une équipe;

·         Détenir une habileté et une facilité à communiquer de manière efficace et professionnelle autant avec l’équipe de production qu’avec la clientèle.

 

Nous offrons :

·         Salaire de 22.00$ de l’heure, avec heures supplémentaires (après 40 heures par semaine) payées à temps et demi (1.5 x le salaire régulier);

·         5 jours de maladie payés par année;
