Sales and Marketing Coordinator

 

Established import agency, located in Waterloo, Ontario, looking for a one-year contract position in an administrative role to support the trade marketing team and reporting primarily to the National Portfolio Manager.  This position will give the successful candidate great exposure to International Business. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• assisting in submitting applications for retail programs

• assisting in completing applications for new product submissions 

• maintaining programming calendars 

• updating pricing trackers

• preparing and disseminating monthly sales reports 

• ordering product samples and price confirmations as required 

• maintaining product spec sheets for entire product portfolio

 

• obtaining Vendor Profile forms/Letters of Appointments as required

 

• assisting in development and procurement of trade POS material

• working closely with sales and marketing team across Ontario to collect market insights and report on competitor activity 

• assisting in developing sales and marketing presentations for internal and external audiences

 

 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

 

• must have minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a sales or marketing administration role, plus post-secondary education

 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

 

• Proficient in using Excel to  create business tools such as pricing trackers and program calendars, to perform analysis and calculations, as well as filter, and mine data within existing sales reports 

• Proficient in using PPT to create sales presentations including ability to do various charts and format text as well as data

 

 

 

• Proficient in PhotoShop

 

• experience in the beverage alcohol industry would be beneficial.  Knowledge and a responsible appreciate of beverage alcohol is essential
