Authentic is a national wine & spirits agency that represents some of the most iconic brands in the world including Champagne Louis Roederer, Cristal, Masi, Banfi, K Vintners, Vina Cono Sur, Citra, Michters American Whiskey as well as many other world-renowned brands. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for driven team players.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Ontario Sales Manager, this position’s mandate is to increase the sales and market share of the Authentic Wine & Spirits Merchants portfolio of brands within the parameters set and in line with expectations of the company. Responsible for developing and maintaining critical partner relationships with on-premise accounts and key LCBO stores within the Woodbridge/Markham and GTA East territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Account Management Responsibilities: 

On-Trade

o   Drive sales of the Authentic Wine & Spirits portfolio in the assigned on-premise accounts achieving assigned KPIs

o   Maximize volume sales and product placements within the on-trade account base for wine & spirit brands

o   Placement and activation of icon brands while maintaining brand standards

o   Placement and activation of premium spirits portfolio in key lighthouse accounts

o   Organize field days for supplier principals and ambassadors in accordance with management expectations

Retail:

o   Develop long term and collaborative partnerships with LCBO employees at all levels of store organization

o   Drive sales of LCBO Wines & Spirits Portfolio by activating programming and managing visibility and availability and Authentic merchandising standards

o   Support store inventory flow

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have industry experience in both on and off trade channels.  Must reside within the assigned territory.  Degree or Diploma in Business, Management, Sales or related / similar discipline.

Entrepreneurial team player with expert presentation skills.

 

This position requires flexible hours and will sometimes require nights and weekends with Trade Shows, Supplier Dinners/Events outside of regular work days. Base salary plus incentive bonus, car allowance and benefits commensurate with experience.
