50th Parallel Estate Winery is a world class wine destination situated just north of Kelowna in beautiful Lake Country British Columbia. 50th Parallel Estate is internationally renowned for its spectacular wine portfolio, culinary program and stunning architecture. Now rated as one of the top 100 restaurants in Canada in 2022 from Opentable, BLOCK ONE restaurant features a fine dining regional seasonal menu hi-lighting local ingredients from the Okanagan Valley and Western Canada. BLOCK ONE runs in a beautiful outdoor patio space featuring our Wood Stone forno bar. The outside space is temperature controlled allowing for dining comfort in all weather conditions. The restaurant typically runs 7 months of the year and then moves indoors to the jaw dropping interior dining space. 50th Parallel Estate also hosts numerous events throughout the year including a select number of weddings. The successful applicant will be responsible for not only the daily operations of BLOCK ONE restaurant but also for the entire events division and entire culinary program at 50th Parallel. Previous experience in both fine dining restaurant leadership and luxury culinary event program execution is required. We have a very strong and experienced culinary team that will report to the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be screened by multiple members of the organization to ensure not only a fit for the creative and management skills required for the role but also to ensure that personality and personal skills will blend well into the existing front and back of house teams.
