Hillside Winery & Bistro is located on the spectacular Naramata Bench in the Okanagan Valley.  Our well equipped cellar produces top quality wines destined for many markets.  Our commitment to quality has been highly awarded and praised throughout North America.

 

Our award winning Bistro offers exceptional contemporary wine country cuisine and features two patios with breathtaking views of vineyards, orchards and Lake Okanagan.  We offer a lovely gift shop and tasting room where our portfolio of esteemed wines may be sampled in truly unique and memorable setting.

 

Hillside Winery & Bistro is seeking a motivated, hard working employee who is passionate about great food and wine! We are looking for someone to lead our team for the 2018 season in the position of Bistro Manager.

 

Summary of Position: 

Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation, special events and functions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous Food and Beverage knowledge and leadership experience required 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, guest service, and oral/written communication skills 
  • Must have valid Serving it Right Certificate and Food Safe knowledge 
  • Previous Okanagan food and wine knowledge an asset 
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem solving
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and as a leader
  • Availability to work flexible schedule as business requires
