Black Hills Estate Winery is situated on the scenic Black Sage Bench in Oliver, British Columbia and has been producing premium wine in this region since 1999. Known for the Nota Bene Bordeaux inspired blend, our focus is presice vineyard management, minimal intervention in the winery, and world class wine experiences offered to the thousands of visitors we see annually.
As the Prep Cook, you will provide seamless and exceptional food service from our Vineyard Kitchen, inspiring others to think in extraordinary ways.... creating extraordinary experiences for our guests!

What you offer:
- A passion and experience working in the culinary/hospitality industry
- Exceptional communication, organizational and leadership skills
- The ability to work under pressure and in very fast paced environments
- Experience working in a culinary environment.
- Ability to be a brand ambassador and convey our message with genuine pride
- Food Safe, ideally level 2. Level 1 is required
What you will have fun doing:
- Daily food production, ensuring quality of food is prepared according to established food safety standards
- Using best practices and effective methods of food preparation including sizes of portions and garnishing
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment, as well as following current WorkSafe regulations
- Following proper COVID 19 Protocol and understanding and following work safe practices
