Wine Sales Associate at 13th Street Winery
13th Street Winery has become a must-see winery destination in Niagara. We offer a variety of experiences from seated wine tastings and wine-by-the-glass to educational wine seminars and casual seasonal outdoor dining at the Farmhouse Bistro. We also host formal dining experiences and private receptions and events.
Our team is looking for highly motivated and sales-focused individuals with a passion for wine to help grow and expand our retail business.
Position: Wine Sales Associate at 13th Street Winery
The Tasting Room Sales Associate position is responsible for providing the ultimate guest wine tasting experience and will have a passion and knowledge of wine including hospitality experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The Tasting Room Sales Associate
- Execute engaging, educational, and memorable positive guest experiences that build brand loyalty.
- Supporting and assist in growing the 13th Street Wine Club and meet sales goals and targets
- Assist in daily wine club groups, tasting room reservations and private events on property. This includes greeting visitors, providing exceptional and consistent customer service.
- Assist with set up, execution and clean up for 13th Street Winery events
- Provide group educational experiences on property.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Passion for knowledge of Niagara wine, wine and food pairings and willingness to continue to learn more.
WSET or Sommelier Certification recommended
Excellent hospitality, sales, organizational, and customer service skills.
Professional appearance, approachable and positive demeanor.
Must be available and willing to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
Must have Smart Served certification
Compensation
Full-time position with a competitive hourly rate
Shared portion of tips of the participation in service as it relates to the position.
