Clos du Soleil Winery is a top-tier boutique winery located in the beautiful Similkameen Valley of British Columbia.  We are searching for a Cellar Hand, to begin work in August or September 2021. 

Job Description

• A wide variety of cellar tasks including grape processing, fermentation management, sanitation, and other general cellar duties.
• A meaningful role in a small winery aiming to produce unique terroir-driven wines that compete internationally.
• Challenging work within a fun, supportive and collegial atmosphere.
• Opportunities to assist with vineyard work as needed.
• The job will begin in late summer 2021, and will be full time through the 2021 harvest. For candidates looking for year-round work, this is possible and can be discussed.
• Clos du Soleil has a small tight-knit team. An ability to work with others, be flexible, and contribute in a variety of ways will be essential.
• Due to long hours during harvest and a changing work schedule, self-provided accommodation within a reasonable commute will be essential.

Qualifications

A successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in winery cellar work.
• A very strong work ethic, and an ability to be flexible and collaborative in a team setting.
• Physically fit, and an ability to work long hours when required.
• Be self-directed, with organizational skills.
• Certification to drive a forklift is a bonus, but is not required.
