What We’re Looking For:
Passionate, engaging, positive and professional individuals to create our team for the 2022 season. We are looking to bring together a group of like minded individuals who are passionate about the wine industry and want to show others all the wonderful things the Okanagan Valley has to offer. If you love wine, have an enthusiasm for hospitality and want to share your knowledge with others, then we hope you will apply!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensuring safe practice of all COVID-19 cleaning procedures and distancing protocols
- Warmly welcoming all guests at the front doors as they enter the tasting bar
- Ensuring prompt, attentive and high-quality customer service
- Seamlessly lead guests through wine tastings and be able to recommend other wines or products the guest might also enjoy, as well as other wineries in the local area
- Educating guests about the winery, our wine portfolio and our Wine Club in a relaxed yet professional manner
- Generating wine sales, as well as Wine Club membership sign-ups
- Assisting with inventory counts, stocking, cashouts, daily reports, and opening and closing procedures
- Ensuring tasting room is always clean, organized and ready for guests
- Assisting with packing and shipping of online orders and Club orders

Qualifications and Skills:
- Serving it Right Certificate required
- Passion for wine and a strong knowledge of the Okanagan Valley wine industry
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Polished and professional demeanor
- Charismatic, friendly, engaging, outgoing and welcoming personality
- Ability to multi-task and maintain positive outlook in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift approx. 40lbs and stand for extended periods of time
This is a seasonal position, and weekend and holiday availability are required.
