We are looking for a Cellar Master to join The Vancouver Club's growing team! The Cellar Master will oversee the inventory and the organization of all alcoholic beverages. Knowledge of all inventory is needed to execute well in this position and a high standard of cleanliness must be maint ained at all times. The Cellar Master will also be responsible for distributing all alcohol to the Club outlets and respond to requisition sheets in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support in the preparation of the daily orders for events in a timely manner.
• Support in the preparation of consumption reports for banquet events.
• Carry out the building, bottling, and packing of beverage items that are being sold as part of our ongoing ‘at-home’ events.
• Supervises the implementation of standardized procedures for all cellar operations including requisitions, traffic in and out of the cellar, and proper rotation.
• Responsible for the maintenance / organization / cleanliness / security of the wine cellar and stock.
• Ensures that the liquor orders are put away.
• Maintains the organization of the beverage inventory in the Club’s main cellar and Enoteca.
• Receive yesterday AND weekend event LWB back into inventory from storage.
• Is issued requisitions in order to maintain the inventory of the Bar & Grill cellar and bar.
• Issues requisitions to the Director of Wine and Beverage in order to maintain the inventory at established par levels.
• Participates in the monthly inventory counts for all Wine, Spirits, and other alcohols.
• Pull inventory for Shopify orders and packs them in a timely manner.
• Regularly review (daily) Shopify to ensure all orders are met in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum 2 years Food & Beverage experience
• Must have Serving It Right
• Computer Knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have formal education in Wine and spirits
• Demonstrate superior customer service philosophy
• Will be required to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
