Sip Northwest Magazine, an award-winning publication covering the liquid culture of the Pacific Northwest has immediate openings for Regional Account Managers to support advertising sales business throughout British Columbia. Individuals will support established accounts and develop new client relationships.
The Advertising Sales Representative will sell print and digital advertising for Sip Northwest Magazine (quarterly), www.sipnorthwest.com and Sip’s Wine Guide: BRITISH COLUMBIA, an annual wine tourism guide.
We are seeking outgoing, energetic and success motivated sales professionals with the ability to show clients the benefits of advertising within our publication to increase sales.

B.C. Regional Account Manager (British Columbia)
Responsibilities:
- Create new business opportunities through personal and independent selling activities and networking.
- Manage and maintain new and current relationships throughout the entire sales cycle and post sales.
- Develop marketing proposals that help clients achieve their business goals in print, digital, email, social and other opportunities.
- Report weekly to management on status of sales and maintain notes in a CRM program.
- Create deliverables reports to send to all clients for ROI details.
- Meet monthly sales goals.
Requirements:
- Sales experience required, preferably media sales in print or online for a minimum of one year or experience and/or knowledge within the BC wine industry.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Comfortable in social settings with the ability to network.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized and presentation skills.
- Communicate clearly and possess knowledge in social media and marketing trends.
- A minimum of a basic database to approach for sales and provide lead list that fits with Sip Northwest’s audience.
Compensation: Positions are based on a high commission pay plan; we offer the flexibility of part time or full time opportunities.
