We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail & Service Supervisor to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting management in maintaining a positive environment both for our customers and team members. Responsible for ensuring that all team members are providing prompt, efficient, and memorable experiences for our guests. Demonstrate impressive product knowledge, friendly and courteous customer service, as well as ensuring daily operations are running smoothly in all service areas.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
-Perform all opening and closing duties (key holder)
-Lead by example, offering a strong, hands-on style of leadership and service.
-Ensure all service areas are running smoothly and each customer is receiving prompt and friendly service. This includes the retail store & balcony, the outdoor Wine Domes in the winter season and the Vineyard Lounge tent in the summer season.
-Attains significant product knowledge, ensures all team members are educated on products and services, and efficiently provides customers with recommendations.
-Engages with customers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
-Delegates duties and responsibilities, as necessary to team members.
-Ensure all service areas are welcoming, clean, organized and maintained aesthetically.
-Ensure retail store is always well-stocked and organized with wine, merchandise, and service supplies.
-Assist with counting inventory and ordering supplies, products, and merchandise.
-Ongoing training and development of staff at all levels
-Assist team members in daily operations in retail and service.
-Enforce safety & cleaning standards.
-Ensure retail store and all service areas consistently operate according to brand systems and standards.
-Reports directly to the Hospitality Manager & Hospitality Coordinator.
-Must be comfortable working outside in our Vineyard Lounge in the summer and Wine Domes in the winter.
-Assist with packing online, telesale, sponsorship, licensee and gifting orders.
-Assist with other administrative duties as required.
Experience:
-Previous supervisor or management experience.
-Strong Wine Knowledge.
-Previous service and winery experience.
-Smart Serve Certification mandatory.
Schedule:
-5 days a week.
-Day & early evening shifts.
-Weekends
-Holidays
Based on experience.
