The Bacchus Group is looking to add a Field Sales Manager to the BC team. This is a new role and reports into the Regional Sales Manager - BC.
Over the past 3 years, The Bacchus Group has continued to exceed targets and gain new business. With this success we are in need of a Field Sales Execution Manager for our BC sales team. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, the BC FSEM will directly supervise a team of 5 Field Sales Representatives. This role will also be heavily involved with Key Account management and a support for the Regional Sales Manager.
Do you have what it takes?
- Manage our portfolio of products to meet and/or exceed the sales targets in each and every account
- Maintain and modify, as necessary, the Field Sales Representatives account territories & route plans
- Manage a client list including conducting business reviews, listing presentations, promotional programming applications, and supplier visits
- Meet with Key buyers to present opportunities and develop ongoing relationships
- Ensure best in class sales and merchandising execution is being achieved in every account
- Develop, manage and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales objective targets.
- Conduct regular field surveys to evaluate market conditions and validate program execution.
- Work closely with the Trade Marketing Specialist and Regional Sales Manager to develop area specific marketing plan
- Responsible for monitoring SG&A and A&P budgets
What do you need?
- Minimum 2+ years of sales management experience, preferably in the beverage alcohol or CPG industry
- Industry Key Account experience an asset
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce or related from a recognized institution
- Proven success in field sales
- Proven ability to develop and manage team
- Effective leadership and strategic influencing skills
- Effective business systems thinker and a good understanding of business process knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with others in a diverse environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
- Strong stakeholder management focus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong visual merchandising skills
- Proficient with personal computers and business applications
