Sales Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

This position coordinates and executes activities related to sales and marketing programs in BC. The Sales Coordinator reports to the Director of Sales to provide support with any sales & marketing-related and administrative tasks.

Role & Responsibilities 

  • Accurately submit monthly LTO’s to the BCLDB

  • Submitting monthly marketing applications to the BCLDB for In Store Tastings, Shelf Talkers, Necktags, Value Ads, Displays and Special Events with direction from the Trade Marketing department

  • Coordination of in-store tastings – managing the assigned budget, tracking spend, managing staffing

  • Event coordination – Wine makers dinners, VIWF, Cornucopia, IVSA and any other local wine events 

  • Invoice Management – responsible for entering invoices for the BC region – LTO’s, tastings, service invoices, courier charges

  • Support Trade Marketing Department for VIWF, duties not limited to: attending meetings, coordinate supplier booths, scheduling of events and additional supplier support throughout the festival

  • Support Sales & Trade Marketing for Supplier Visits, duties not limited to: itinerary creation & management, booking car service/hotels, scheduling of events and additional supplier support throughout the visit

  • Updating and distributing monthly LTO summary sheets, sales focus sheets, price guide, product sell sheets, accolades 

  • CRM Support for Sales team – using EZ Focus platform, input objectives as laid out by the Sales Director, track objectives, run reports, support sales team in addition/deletion or adjustment of territory account data

  • Coordinating sample pick up and shipments as needed locally and to other provinces 

  • Manage daily office upkeep including: keeping general spaces clean & clear, answering the phones, shipping and receiving, ordering office supplies, printing requests from sales reps

  • Help coordinate team meetings, events and training seminars – organizing glassware, tasting mats, meals, samples and tasting notes

     

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook skills required
  • InDesign experience an asset
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Personable, enthusiastic, positive approach
  • Occasional evening/weekend event and promotional work may be required
