Job Summary:
Provide operations support to the Western Canada Inventory & Logistics Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
LOGISTICS & PO MANAGEMENT:
· Submit all reactivations, PO revisions, bar code changes, etc. to Liquor Boards
· Verify, process and post all bond transfer POs to MB and SK (Est 15 weekly)
· Process weekly inventory downloads for MB and SK; verify accuracy of inventory balances and sku listings. Distribute to sales and Prairie marketing team weekly
· Verify receipt of SK PO’s in Order Management system
· Monitor SLGA direct to winery PO’s and ensure that they are keyed into the Order Mangement system
· Update Shipment tracker data with vintages and ETA’s on a daily basis (BC/AB)
· Update bond transfer summary monthly
· Administer Consular charity events (approx.10-15 per year)
· Arrange customs clearance and delivery to AWSM offices for wine samples
· Maintain a product sample log and distribute to the Marketing managers
· Process and distribute weekly Monarch inventory report for sub-agent
· Process and distribute weekly Everything Wine inventory report
· Obtain yearly NAFTA/CETA/CPTPP certificates for all suppliers and submit to the various Western Canadian Liquor Boards by the required deadline
· Obtain or request the SLGA Certificate of Analysis for all listed products.
LISTINGS:
· Submit new registrations for Western Canada (BC/AB/MB/SK)
· Coordinate with Sales & Marketing on completion of requisite forms for special order and consignments applications
GENERAL ADMINISTRATION:
· Maintain the Western Canada product information data base
· Manitoba & Sask quarterly price list
· Filing
· Other duties as requested for Logistics/Marketing/Management
· Holiday back-fill for Logistics Manager and the back-up for Business & Costing Analyst
· Phone coverage (as per office schedule)
Job Requirements:
· Experience: Enrolled in University degree (BCom preferred) in Marketing/Logistics or equivalent discipline
· Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be highly organized, display excellent motivation and leadership abilities. You should be prepared to provide examples of your written work. Must be able to juggle multiple situations, be self-motivated and able to work independently.
· Knowledge: Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Pivot Tables, V-look ups.
· Physical: Must be physically fit and be able to lift and carry 19 Kg boxes and handle heavy POS material.
