Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage AWSM Prairies Marketing Activity Calendar, and Competitive Activity Grid ensuring that AWSM programming is up-to-date and executed on-time;
- Artwork design and in house printing and distribution of promotional and sales materials as assigned by marketing & sales managers. All materials to be properly filed in N-Drive & SharePoint;
- Production or sourcing, coordination and distribution of POS for approved programs and delivery;
- Rep requests for materials to be assigned and approved by Marketing Manager, to be completed on a timely basis;
- Complete MLCC, SLGA & key chain account marketing program applications for shelf talkers & necktags, image programs, value-add & tastings for all Canadian Prairie provinces;
- Electronic version of AB, SK & MB price lists to be updated and distributed bi-monthly (including to Web-Site administrator), hard copies printed periodically on approval of marketing managers;
- Serve as Prairies point person for Web-site and SharePoint maintenance and development;
- Lead supplier itineraries for the Canadian Prairies; liaise with Management team and reps as required, and drive AWSM event planning and event execution for annual trade shows;
- Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly marketing reports including varietal ranking, country of origin, etc;
- Assist with marketing, supplier and key account presentations;
- Manage AWSM tasting calendar and compile data from reps for measurement;
- Compile and prepare sales reports and call reports on a weekly basis for all Prairies provinces;
- Create and complete sales applications and reports as needed by the Sales Manager and Sales Director;
- Cross train and serve as a backup for phones and general office admin;
- Produce and reprint business cards for all Prairies AWSM staff;
- Additional duties as directed by AWSM Marketing & Sales Mgrs;
The Ideal Candidate Should:
- Be proficient in excel, word processing and graphic design skills, effective oral and written communication skills.
- Be a self-starter who is eager to advance their career with a keen eye for innovation.
- Have the ability to see the big picture to improve communication messages based on the target market.
- Have the ability to read and analyze statistics for targeting & effectively build sales marketing material for the sales team.
- Have the ability to execute high standards of performance and work within tight deadlines to advance the company.
- Have post-secondary education in communication or marketing and demonstrates a passion for the wine and spirits industry.
Base salary plus incentive bonus, and benefits commensurate with experience. Business related expenses are also covered.
