We are currently looking for a dynamic, results oriented individual to fill the position of Sales Representative for part of Calgary and Lethbridge. This position requires a self-motivated individual concerned with short term sales activity within accounts as well as developing a long term strategy to ensure AWSM will retain market share and growth strategy. Relationship building is a must to obtain future business in existing and new accounts. Job Summary:
To achieve your assigned territory sales numbers through our goals and targets system which focuses on volume as well as distribution in your assigned area within the philosophies and style of the company. Responsible for development and maintenance of critical partner relationships with accounts in assigned territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Exceed your targets in a fashion that falls within our corporate values of honesty, integrity and commitment.
· Call on accounts within the territory assigned to you by your manager identifying and targeting decision makers. Bring forward to your manager new accounts that open up in your geographical area to help qualify them as prospects.
· Work with team members to build and maintain product distribution within assigned accounts, keep accurate records of each account in your tablet based CRM tool, and execute head office driven chain promotions.
· Develop partnerships with liquor store managers/staff and licensee account management/staff to increase the market share of our products within the account.
· Strive to overachieve quarterly assigned targets and yearly KPI’s.
· Adhere to the AWSM execution standards during sales calls.
· Sell in the A.W.S.M. way following our steps of the call selling method.
· Follow the provincial rules and regulations with regards to sales, promotions and advertising events.
· Depending on the customer base, activities may include creation of sales presentations, coordination of promotions, development of wine and bar lists, educational product tastings or staff training, and other related activities.
Management/Administrative Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate and current account data in your CRM tool. Record your call notes after each call.
· Submit route plans and quarterly territory targeting plans as directed.
· Manage expenses within company guidelines.
Job Qualifications:
· Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be highly organized, and display excellent motivation and leadership abilities. You should be prepared to provide examples of your written work. You must have great PC skills (Windows: Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and be able to extensively use the AWSM web based applications for sales and planning activities. Must be able to juggle multiple situations, and be self motivated and able to work independently.
· Knowledge: Expert knowledge of the liquor industry (both wine and spirits products as well as governmental policy and regulations). Successful completion of several wine and spirit courses is desirable (such as WSET) and will be required if hired.
· Physical: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and travel (includes overnight stays). Must be physically fit and be able to lift and carry 41+ pounds and able to build displays or handle heavy POS material.
· Other: Other: Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s license in the Province employed, have their own vehicle and must meet the Company’s automobile insurance requirements. Must have and maintain a valid Canadian Passport along with a Serving it Right / Proserve certification.
Base salary plus incentive bonus, car allowance and benefits commensurate with experience.
