The Role:
Boutique Wines Ltd is looking for a professional and energetic Wine Representative to join our growing team. We are a fine wine and spirits import and distribution company operating in British Columbia and Alberta. We are driven, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about wine and focused on building premium boutique brands. We are looking for an individual to drive results that exceed our distribution, merchandising, and sales objectives for both on-premise and retail channels. You are passionate about building and maintain long term relationships with clients, expanding our account base and increasing market share.

You are an experienced Sales professional with a proven track record of success with prospecting, account management and closing deals. With excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency and a self starter, you are a natural relationship builder with a talent for sales. You are highly customer focused and resourceful with an ability to network, generate leads and present products and services to clients.
Where is it based?
Calgary/ Edmonton AB
Responsibilities:
· Identifying and prioritizing prospects using creative lead generating techniques and referrals
· Placing sales calls to both new and existing clients
· Delivering presentations to introduce new products and sell existing products
· Identifying clients’ needs, building rapport and following up in a timely manner
· Meeting and exceeding annual sales objectives in terms of revenue and distribution
· Managing company budget and expenses within guidelines
· Monitoring marketing programs to ensure success
· Acting as a Brand Ambassador for Boutique Wines when attending events, training and meetings
· Coordinating and conducting various wine tastings and events
· Preparing sales materials and reports as required
· Maintaining an updated record of sales and client account activity
Must haves:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Commerce from a recognized institution
· At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the wine and spirits or CPG industry
· Minimum Level 3 WSET or equivalent
· Highly organized, goal and detail-oriented with superior closing skills
· Must be able to work as an individual and/or in a team environment
· Professional verbal and written communication skills
· Availability to travel and attend evening or weekend events
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Legally able to sell alcoholic beverages
· Valid Alberta Driver’s License
