Our team is currently looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Brand Ambassador, Deutsch Family Wines & Spirits, Western Canada. Reporting to both the Vice President & General Manager, TBP Western Canada, and Canadian Market Manager, Deutsch Family Wines & Spirits, covering both the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, this role will be focused on growing and developing the Josh Wine Brand, as well as other products in the Deutsch portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
• Building long term relationships with retail stores, independent stores and on-premise accounts
• Achieve or exceed new distribution and volume targets by increasing brand awareness and exposure through excellent negotiation and selling techniques along with implementing strong merchandising principles
• Identify effective and beneficial sponsorship and promotional opportunities
• Successfully manage brand budget, providing updates on a quarterly basis
• Plan, execute and represent the brand at select festivals, sponsorships and industry events
Some of the Key Accountabilities include:
• Weekly reporting of results, key successes and competitor activity
• Building, developing and maintaining of account database, target customers and results achieved.
• Act as a source of information to the company on issues and opportunities in the industry, market and account base.
• Ensure a high level of customer service with responding to internal and external inquires daily
The successful applicant will posses the following Skills/Competencies and Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate effectively, excellent time management and planning skills, able to prioritize and work in fast paced environment.
• Self motivated with a team-oriented personality
• Knowledge of Sales training techniques, i.e. Negotiation skills, and commercial selling
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft office
• Existing strong relationships in both the on-premise and retail channels in Alberta and/or BC
• Degree within Sales, Marketing, Business or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience within the alcohol and beverage industry
Additional Requirements:
• Must have valid driver’s license, and passport
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and travel overnight as necessary
