Icon Vins Fins is one of the newest, privately owned boutique Canadian agencies. A subsidiary of the market leader Select Wines, we have a strong foundation to back our innovative spirit. We pride ourselves with a portfolio of respected producers and are looking for the right candidate to join our growing team.
In close collaboration to Sales, Marketing Managers are responsible for all Trade promotions and return on investment. Reporting to the Provincial Sales Manager, this is a key contributing role in provincial targets to sell and grow awareness of our world class portfolios.
To be successful in this role, you must be a result driven, wine passionate individual with strong organization and business analytical skills. Potential candidates would have a competitive team spirit, genuine thirst for winning and a desire to work cross-functionally with all departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Quarterly program/sales meeting creation
· Management of special events
· Product forecasts with scheduled revisions
· Marketing plans and strategy
· Budget planning and accountability
· Trade program execution
· Sales material creation, updates, and circulation
Position Requirements:
· Self starter and highly motivated
· Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)
· Beverage industry experience
· Knowledge of design programs and an eye for simple design work
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to meet tight deadlines
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Ability to lift/carry 40lbs regularly
· WSET 2, or equivalent an asset
