Philippe Dandurand Wines Ltd, a leading company in the importing and sales and promotion of wines in Canada, is hiring for On-Trade Territory Manager - Calgary. This position will be focused on growing our on-trade business in Calgary as well as our fine wine offerings in select boutique stores.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Deliver territory volume and distribution by meeting team and individual targets
§ Product and Industry Knowledge.
§ Making calls to Key On-Trade accounts through strategic planning while maintaining the highest standards in customer service & excellence.
§ Identify and leverage business opportunities.
§ Ownership in forecasting territory sales & identifying brands/products required to make it happen.
§ Creating and presenting professional PowerPoint presentations for potential new customers that include and utilize current industry data (Provincial & National).
§ Cold-calling potential customers.
Technical Requirements & Skills:
§ Strong understand of wine regions, varietals and viticulture.
§ Post Secondary Education
§ Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in the alcohol and/or food sales industry is a must. Experience with AB preferred.
§ Demonstrated relationship-building expertise, exceptional communication skills.
§ Computer knowledge (Windows, Office).
§ Strong organizational & time management skills.
§ Knowledge of the beverage alcohol industry.
§ Ability to analyze and interpret industry data to be used in customer presentations.
