The Cellar Wine Store is a long standing boutique wine store located in the heart of Calgary’s downtown, the historic Alberta Hotel Building on Stephen Ave.

At The Cellar, we taste through all of our wines, and make sure that our curated selection is Calgary’s best! Our mission is to provide an exceptional customer experience of shopping “in a real wine cellar.”
Candidates will potentially host private and public wine & spirit tasting events. So they should have public speaking ability.
These candidates should possess the following attributes:
- strong interpersonal skills; active listener, team player, responsible and dependable, motivated, flexible, patient
- service skills focusing on customer care
- neat and tidy appearance
- ability to multi task and prioritize
- intermediate wine & spirits knowledge
- ability to speak publicly in an events setting
- able to lift 40 lbs. and team lift items as large as kegs
- valid driver’s license
- valid ProServe
- passion to learn and develop professionally within the wine, beer and liquor industry in Alberta
We offer a fast paced learning environment with plenty of tasting, staff discount, industry perks, great working hours rarely past 8PM, networking and professional advancement.
The schedule for this role is Wednesday-Saturday (8 hour shifts) with the potential for full time over the summer months.
