Nobilis Full Time Sales Representative
Full time position – based in Calgary Alberta
Nobilis Wine Importers is an established Western Canada company specializing in fine wines and spirits with a large and
diverse portfolio. We are looking for a wine and spirit educated, driven, enthusiastic and well organized individual to join our
Alberta sales team. The ideal candidate will be a talented communicator, negotiator and has the foresight and ability to grow
and sustain multiple relationships while building the Nobilis portfolio with both on and off premise accounts within our
dynamic city.
Job Overview:
We work as a team at Nobilis and as a part of the sales team, the ideal candidate will work alongside their fellow agents and
management to coordinate the sales and distribution of products in a timely and organized fashion. They will achieve
quarterly and annual sales targets while offering skilled interpretation of each product as well as in depth knowledge about
the growing/vinification and environmental influences of each represented region.
This position will service Calgary and surrounding area (Airdrie, Cochrane, Strathmore & Chestermere )
Job Requirements:
· Track record of sales success with at least 1-3 years experience in the wine and hospitality industry
· In-depth wine knowledge and a successful completion of WSET 2 or equivalent. Completion of WSET 3 or equivalent will be
given preference. The Nobilis portfolio is incredibly strong and intricate and not suitable for anyone new to the wine industry
· Exceptional public speaking skills
· Capable of initiating, building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships
· The ability to effectively organize and execute weekly sales meetings, events and office tasks
· A solid comprehension of on and off premise pricing and requirements
· Communication on a weekly basis regarding meetings, sales, events, trends etc...
· Understand the importance of familiarizing themselves with the Nobilis portfolio and allotting the time required to do so.
· Proficient verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent listening and comprehension skills
· Strong time management skills
· Flexible schedule, evening and weekend work will be required although 75% of the schedule will be Monday-Friday days.
· Working knowledge and proficiency in computer skills
· Possess a reliable vehicle, a valid Driver’s license & Pro Serve Certification· Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 kg
Base salary commensurate with education and industry experience. Commissions, benefits package, office and auto allowance. Pre-approved business related expenses are reimbursed.
