Vino Al vino is seeking full-time sales representatives in the greater Calgary area.

What We Are Looking For?

We are looking for individuals that are intrinsically motivated, self-starters, have excellent organizational skills, are obsessively customer focused, thrive on change and have desire to win. We are not looking for an employee. We are looking for someone that can help us scale up our business and has the potential to become a partner in our company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy;
  • Record and manage daily activities through CRM;
  • Obsessively focus on understanding our customer needs, what works for them, what doesn’t, timing of menu/stock changes and how to drive value and help them grow their business;
  • Drive value for our customers and help build out our brand through collaborations, store pours, product features, special events, etc.;
  • Develop and foster productive business relationships with all assigned accounts and key decision-makers;
  • Establish and maintain a sales call cycle of 40 calls per week;
  • Operate within an approved expense budget; and
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends. 
Critical Competencies:
  • Ability to listen and influence accounts with strong business acumen and sales skills;
  • Ability to present in front of multiple individuals in a professional manner, with a strong level of confidence;
  • Ability to manage tasks and to exercise independent judgment without supervision; and
  • Excellent organization skills, accurate and detailed oriented.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience as a wine sales rep;
  • A persuasive and energetic personality;
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven personality;
  • Advanced organization and planning skills;
  • WSET or ISG Certification is an asset;
  • Competency with Google Docs and a CRM system;
  • Valid Driver’s license in good standing; and
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

What We Offer

This position comes with a base salary, commission and annual bonus commensurate with the results you achieve. Business related expenses are also covered.
