SUMMIT FINE WINES is a premium, established, wine agency owned by Jackson Family Wines: a privately owned California wine company with over 50 wineries spanning the globe. Summit specializes in selling high-tier, mainly California and Italian wines. Summit distributes to Western Canadian Markets including: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba and is a partner with Breakthru Beverage in each province.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We currently have an opening for a full time dual rep, sales position. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, hard-working, self-starter who possesses strong sales & presentation skills for the mountain territory and for the South Alberta territory including Lethbridge. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment and be a positive attribute to our team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet and sell to on-premise and retail accounts within assigned territory and achieve sales targets as defined by Alberta Sales Manager. Retail to include 80% chain accounts.
Report daily/weekly/monthly wins to Alberta Sales Manager.
Provide wine education and sales training to our agency partner and key accounts through tastings and special events.
Make persuasive sales calls using wine knowledge, return on investment, margins and pour costs
Create, prioritize and preplan your own territory run of key accounts
Communicate pertinent information between JFFW management, Distributor Management and Key Accounts
Effectively present one-on-one or to a group
Display original thinking and creativity for problem solving
Work in a fast paced environment, adapt and respond to change quickly
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have at least one year of work experience in sales industry
Must possess a current driver’s license, maintain current auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50 lbs. case of wine
This position requires the availability and willingness to work flexible hours and weekends when necessary

Compensation: $60-$65K- depending on experience
Monthly car allowance: $500
Mileage:.30 per km
Competitive medical/benefits coverage after three month probation period
Monthly internet and phone allowance of $200
