Wine Shop Management Sales management and merchandising
● Email account daily monitoring and respond to inquiries ● Monitor telephone messages and respond to inquiries ● Inventory weekly management ● POS Management – Sales Monitoring, Product Setup, Inventory, Reporting. ● Suppliers – Soaps, Jellies, Teas, Cards, Commissions, Packaging, etc. Labeling products. ● Wine Shop Displays ● Winery Tours – Groupon contract, sales monitoring, on-line redemptions ● Gift Certificates – Tours & Coupons ● Setup & Review Google Calendar & Google Drive ● Farmer Markets Management ● Online Stores
Winery Events Logistics and execution of Winery events including concerts, wine launches, holiday events, business events, private events, weddings, etc
● Customer estimates & contracts – Alcohol & Gaming licenses ● Working with customers and external suppliers to facilitate events ● Sourcing musicians for concerts ● Creating tickets, reservation sheets, posters ● Facilitate setup requirements including seating, sound system, room setup, bar setup, furniture, art installation, etc. ● Staffing requirements
Wine Shop Staff & HR
● Bi-weekly staff scheduling ● Timesheet approval and submission ● Supervise staff and assign work duties/projects – daily checklist ● HR forms
General Operations, Admin & Maintenance
● Laundry ● Alarm System ● Post office, shipping ● Weekly shopping for tours, winery and office supplies ● Winery maintenance – cleaning, repairs, gardens, flowerpots, terrace, lighting, attic, cellar inventory, storage areas, kitchen, etc. ● Internet connectivity ● Work with Vineyard Manager to ensure lawns, grounds are maintained (event requests)
Fiscal Admin
● Weekly cash outs – sales cash & DrCr reconciliation ● Weekly petty cash reporting & replenishment ● POS float – coin and change ● Cash reporting & bank deposits ● Provide various data, vendor invoices, paperwork, etc. to Bookkeeper
External Events
● Registration and application forms ● Manage staffing requirements ● Facilitation: product inventory, sales kits, floats, signage, etc. ● Sales sheet reporting & cash management/deposits ● POS sales entry
Promotion Social Media, Website, Newletters & Print Advertising
● Petite & Shipbuilders online store and product promotions ● Facebook promotion & boasts ● Twitter Promotion ● Petite website maintenance - events, hours, announcements ● Instagram postings ● Newsletter releases using Mail Chimp ● Print media advertising ● Rack card distribution (VICs, local businesses, etc.) ● Create event Posters – printing & distribution.
