Sales Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The Delf Group is seeking a driven, professional, and passionate full-time Sales Coordinator to join our team!

 

The Delf Group is a third generation, family owned and operated Liquor Agent based in Delta, BC. We represent top selling brands throughout Western Canada – such as Bodegas Castano, Vini Tonon and Freixenet.

 

The ideal candidate must have industry experience, integrity, a passion for wine, strong organizational and interpersonal skills and be confident working both independently and as part of a team. This position is based in South Delta (Ladner), but occasional travel may be necessary.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Assistant to the Director of Sales

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team by managing sample inventory, distributing sales documentation and providing relevant information about products, pricing, and availability

  • Prepare and coordinate supplier’s market visits

  • Prepare for Monthly Sales Meetings and other events

  • Support and preparation for trade shows as required

  • Coordination of miscellaneous activities e.g. store pick-ups, tastings etc. as required

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Attributes:

 

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office

  • Good multi-tasking and organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Knowledge of Liquor Industry

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills

  • Organize and participate in trade marketing events

 

  • Adaptable with the ability to take on new challenges as they arise

  • Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and develop

  • Able to work well independently and in a team environment

  • Achievement / results oriented

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Possess wine appreciation/education courses and/or liquor industry related experience

  • Enjoys working with peers/management and promotes positive communication within a team environment

  • Must possess valid BC Driver's License and Canadian Passport

  • Post-Secondary education preferred

  • Ability to lift 40lb cases regularly

 

 Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience and wine education.

Compensation will be based on experience and skillset.
