Wine lovers in the Okanagan are invited to visit our new elegant Chronos tasting lounge and our restaurant Orolo and discover beautifully crafted wines for any occasion, as well as the locally curated dishes of the Okanagan. 

TIME Family of Wines is seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to join our team. This full- time, position will be primarily based at our winery at the District Wine Village in Oliver

Description:

To lead our sales and hospitality team at our winery at the District Wine Village in Oliver, BC

Main responsibilities:

Sales management:

- Lead retail sales from the District Wine Village tasting room and oversee tasting program, hospitality programs, and special events for TIME Family of Wines

- Assist in concept development and execution for elevated experiences and building sales 

- increase wine club memberships

 Staff management:

- Provide effective leadership

- Staff Supervision - Train, motivate, schedule, and evaluate competent staff for tasting room, special events, and off-site events/tastings. Maintain appropriate staffing levels during the day.

- Responsible for training of all commerce systems: Moneris, Commerce 7 and Ollie

- Provide hospitality support at Martin Street location 

Administration:

 - Inventory management, sales reporting and administrative duties related to retail and ecommerce

Skills/Experience Required:

-Exceptional communication skills; a proven track record in achieving sales results.

- Excellent organizational and planning skills.

- Must have a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit.

- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities; ability to work productively with diverse work styles.

- Leadership skills and the ability to drive improvement within the business.

- Experience developing and adhering to a budget.

- Proficient in Social Media.

- WSET is an asset

Compensation based on experience $20-$22/hour plus gratuities.
