We are looking an experienced wine and spirits sales representative to handle our products and to grow the Alberta market.
You would provide sales service for retail and licensee customers in Edmonton and Nothern.
Potential candidates must have completed basic wine education/appreciation courses; have a passion for wine and spirits. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience. This position’s territory will require the candidate to live in Edmonton.
* Self-motivated, driven and has the ability to work independently but also be a team player
* Developing and maintaining a regular call schedule for all channels and accounts
* A minimum of 1-3 years in the wine industry, preferably as a sales rep
* Able to build sales based client relationships across diverse channels
* Strong working capability of computers using MS Office Suite
* A reliable vehicle and a valid Driver’s License
* Has a valid and unimpeded passport
* Able to lift and carry more than 40 lbs. on a regular basis
* Post-secondary education of certificate, diploma or degree is an asset
* Wine education such as WSET or ISG is considered an asset
* Achieving sales targets and increasing sales growth & distribution in your respective territory
* Plan your daily & weekly route, and attain sales targets
* Conduct instore tasting, work at public shows.
* Provide weekly sales reports.
* Able to work some evenings and weekends
Compensation depending on experience level.
