About this Position:
You’re responsible for fulfilling the online orders, maintaining excellent service standards, supporting product stocking and rotation, as well as special merchandising / seasonal displays as required. This position is reported to the General Manager of the store.
Duties include, but not limited to:
• Provide customers with a professional and friendly service at all times
• Receive shipments, offload pallets, transport products into warehouse
• Scan and put away merchandise, restock when necessary
• Maintain and organize customer-facing and warehouse of the business
• Receive and fulfill customer orders in a timely, efficient manner, ensure all customer orders are fully inspected prior to packing and shipping
• Pack and arrange shipping of the customer orders
• Track all orders via shipment software, and update the status
• Note inventory levels and alert manager to potential issues
• Answer phone calls, process returns, and provide online customer service
• Conduct till transactions in accordance with standard operating procedures, and Liquor Control Act and other applicable legislation
• Clean the front store and warehouse area daily
• Other duties and tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
• 1 year customer service experience is preferred
• ProServe Certification is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Mandarin
• Strong customer service skills and a desire to support a great guest experience
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Previous warehouse work experience is an asset
• Comfort with and accuracy in conducting sales transactions
• Able to follow instructions including standard operating procedures, with or without supervision
• WSET certificate and knowledge of products (wine & spirits) is an asset
• Ability to lift around 40 pounds, bend and move quickly in a fast paced environment.
