Vino Al vino, is seeking full-time sales representatives in the greater Calgary and Edmonton areas.

What We Are Looking For?

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales plan and corresponding sale strategy with assistance from the General Manager;
  • Record and manage daily activities through HubSpot Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system ensuring accurate records;
  • Maintain accurate and current account data base through CRM;
  • Submit weekly planning, and daily mapping of achievements;
  • Obsessively focus on understanding our customer needs, what works, what doesn’t, timing of changes and how to drive value and help them grow their business;
  • Drive value for our customers and help build out our brand through collaborations, store pours, product features, special events, etc.;
  • Develop and foster productive business relationships with all assigned accounts and key decision-makers;
  • Establish and maintain a sales call cycle of 40 calls per week;
  • Activity report on progress and traction with assigned accounts;
  • Pour at various trade and public tastings and events;
  • Operate within an approved expense budget; and
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends (as required) including overnight trips from time to time.

Critical Competencies: 

  • Ability to influence accounts with strong business acumen and sales skills;
  • Professional presentation building for proposals with strategic Key Account partners;
  • Ability to present in front of multiple individuals in a professional manner, with a strong level of confidence;
  • Ability to manage tasks and to exercise independent judgment without supervision; and
  • Excellent organization skills, accurate and detailed oriented.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A persuasive and energetic personality;
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven personality;
  • Capable of advanced organization and planning skills and have the ability to respect tight schedules;
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a wine sales rep;
  • Experience in both retail and on premise is an asset;
  • WSET or ISG Certification will be considered an asset;
  • Superior active listening and strong oral and written communication skills are essential;
  • Competency with Google Docs and a CRM system;
  • Valid Driver’s license in good standing; and
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

This position comes with a base salary, commission and annual bonus commensurate with experience and results achieved. Business related expenses are also covered.
