WINERY RETAIL MANAGER - FULL TIME POSITION
Georgian Hills Vineyards is a dynamic agri tourism destination and small craft producer of wines and cider grown locally in the Beaver Valley, Blue Mountains. We are looking for an experienced and motivated leader with a proven managerial role in the food and beverage service industry.
In this exciting role you will be the leader, coach and motivator of a front-line team to improve the customer experience, increase staff productivity, wine sales and grow our onsite food & beverage service. We are looking for the candidate to grow the position to become a key management position within the organization. As the Winery Retail Manager, you must be committed to executing marketing and promotion programs that will increase consumer traffic and wine sales through the winery tasting room and retail outlet.

Highlight of Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
· Food Service and Hospitality college graduate
· WSET Level 1 or IWEG qualifications. ISG or CAPS graduate. Smart Serve certified.
· Previous management experience in restaurant, hotel, catering or winery retail
· Strong leadership, organizational skills and ability to implement HR policies and procedures
· Ability to effectively communicate, listen to staff issues and motivate team spirit
· Committed to customer experience satisfaction.
· Proven computer skills, experience with POS systems, Shopify, Online bookings, competent with monthly sales/inventory reports and staff scheduling
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Must be prepared to work most Saturdays, some holidays and evening events
· Lead, coach and motivate staff to improve sales productivity and the customer service experience
· Accountable for department reports and financial objectives for sales, costs and profitability
· Implementation of sales and marketing initiatives that will increase customer traffic and retention
· Develop ongoing wine and food features and wine experience events
· Committed to maintaining high operational standards for health, safety and cleanliness
· Maintain and grow the company culture where people matter, and the customer is everything.
